#8 Years of Cult Classic Gangs of wasseypur

8 years before Bollywood were working hard in making shitty romantic movies. Anurag Kashup made this Epic crime drama (Masterpiece) called “Gangs of Wasseypur”.

Gangs of Wasseypur is not a regular Indian Bollywood picture that are

Gangs of Wasseypur is based on the real events and an underlying power struggles, politics and vengeance between three crime families in wasseypur and also the story spans form early 1940s to 2000s. This movie doesn’t only portrayed dark side of the gangsters also describes about the lifestyle, politics, casteism etc., which has been written clear in order to make this film as an epic one.

After Dev D, I personally became a fan of Anurag kashup which made me to expect much more in Gangs of Wasseypur and Anurag made cent percent perfect picture. And also he has great vision in showing the exact raw terms into the screen.

Synopsis of Gangs of Wasseypur:

Shahid Khan (Jaideep Ahlawat) is exiled after impersonating the legendary Sultana Daku in order to rob British trains. Now outcast, Shahid becomes a worker at Ramadhir Singh's (Tigmanshu Dhulia) colliery, only to spur a revenge battle that passes on to generations. At the turn of the decade, Shahid's son, the philandering Sardar Khan (Manoj Bajpayee) vows to get his father's honor back, becoming the most feared man of Wasseypur.
